Staying with a group of women I didn’t know, driving so far, being away from my kids, and simply just choosing me was not easy… I was nervous! I will start by saying I don’t have one regret! From being able to witness you and Teresa finally meeting, to meeting all the other women, to being part of creating that wonderful space of safe energy for women to truly be able to relax and recharge was nothing short of inspiring. You, my friend, led the most beautiful and beneficial space for me to truly take a step back, in silence, reflect, take a deep look into my heart, and really connect with me. You were intentional personally and as a group. You led with kindness, bravery, integrity and intention. You blew it out of the water! "This weekend, I went outside of my comfort zone and attended a retreat with 9 other women (8 of them strangers). I honestly had no idea what to expect. The whole weekend was full of positivity, love, encouragement and being in a place that had absolutely no judgment. Let me tell you, these women are so beautiful, inside and out. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. It was so good for my soul. I feel refreshed. I feel enlightened. I feel slightly calmer. I mourned...I mean I ugly cried. And yet I was greeted with tissues and hugs...by women who had just met me and wanted to offer their support. I soaked in nature, learned how to make sourdough, zip lined, did yoga, ate (a lot), had my first sound therapy session, experienced reiki, and made new lifelong friends. I needed this. I am so grateful I had this experience and would do it again and again. If you ever have an opportunity to go on a meaningful retreat, do it. Make the choice for you. Your soul will thank you later."

"Ashley’s women’s recharge retreat was so well thought out and executed! All I had to do is show up! From registration to checklists of what to bring to the printed schedule of activities. We were cared for and provided a safe place and community in which to laugh, cry, try new things and release what no longer serves us. The Gasper River staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. What an awesome few days!
