"This weekend, I went outside of my comfort zone and attended a retreat with 9 other women (8 of them strangers). I honestly had no idea what to expect. The whole weekend was full of positivity, love, encouragement and being in a place that had absolutely no judgment. Let me tell you, these women are so beautiful, inside and out. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. It was so good for my soul. I feel refreshed. I feel enlightened. I feel slightly calmer. I mourned...I mean I ugly cried. And yet I was greeted with tissues and hugs...by women who had just met me and wanted to offer their support. I soaked in nature, learned how to make sourdough, zip lined, did yoga, ate (a lot), had my first sound therapy session, experienced reiki, and made new lifelong friends. I needed this. I am so grateful I had this experience and would do it again and again. If you ever have an opportunity to go on a meaningful retreat, do it. Make the choice for you. Your soul will thank you later."
